Parent Connection’s official start took place in August of 2009 under the title, Parent Survival Guide. The program’s original goal was to serve the needs of parents of 6-12th graders. Since then, we have attempted to broaden our goals to meet the needs of parents and caregivers to children and youth of all ages!
This year’s speakers will utilize their experience as parents and as professionals who work with children, youth, and parents to add a few tools to our parenting toolboxes— who can’t use a few extra tools?! Our speakers are prepared to offer resources to assist parents and caregivers who care for children of ALL ages.
- Parents/grandparents/caregivers of children of ALL ages are welcome to attend any and all nights of the Parent Connection program.
- Childcare is NOT provided, please make appropriate arrangements.
- Speakers will be prepared for Q&A, bring your questions!
